Stay Safe Resources
A safer campus community starts with looking out for each other. Here are a few reminders to help keep your experience positive, respectful, and safe.
Meet Safely
If youâre buying, selling, or trading items with another student, meet in public, well-lit campus locations and avoid sharing private information.
Rides & Transportation
Avoid accepting rides from strangers through the app. If youâre going out, plan ahead with trusted friends or verified ride services.
Alcohol & Substance Safety
Know your limits and make responsible choices. Never leave drinks unattended or accept drinks or substances from people you donât know or trust.
Bullying & Harassment
Thereâs no place for bullying, threats, harassment, or hate speech in our community. Report harmful behavior and support others when you can.
Mental Health Matters
Social media can affect stress, anxiety, and self-esteem. Take breaks when needed, spend time offline, and reach out for support if youâre struggling.
Consent & Respect
Respect boundaries online and offline. Consent should always be clear, mutual, and ongoing in every interaction.
Diversity & Inclusion
Our community welcomes students from all backgrounds. Discrimination or targeted harassment based on identity, beliefs, or appearance will not be tolerated.
Emergencies & Threats
If someone is in immediate danger or you see threats of violence or self-harm, contact local authorities or campus safety right away.
Report Concerns
If something feels unsafe, suspicious, or inappropriate, use the in-app reporting tools or email team@getivy.app. You do not need an IVY account to email a safety concern.
Urgent image removal
Nonconsensual intimate images and deepfakes
If an intimate photo or video of youâincluding an image created or altered with AI or other softwareâappears on IVY without your consent, you or a person authorized to act for you may request removal. You do not need an IVY account.
Email team@getivy.app with the subject âUrgent Intimate Image Removal Requestâ and include:
- your physical or electronic signature, or the signature of a person authorized to act for you;
- a link, screenshot, account name, message location, or other information reasonably sufficient for IVY to locate the image;
- a brief statement that you have a good-faith belief the identified intimate image is nonconsensual, including relevant facts showing it was published without your consent; and
- an email address or other information IVY can use to contact you.
IVY will remove a validly reported image as soon as possible and no later than 48 hours after receiving a valid request, make reasonable efforts to locate and remove known identical copies, provide a reference number, and notify the requester of the outcome. Do not send the intimate image itself unless IVY asks for it through a secure method.
Stay aware, trust your instincts, and help make the community safer for everyone. IVY is owned and operated by IVY MANAGEMENT GROUP LLC.
